Medic 15

We provided full MEP and Fire Protection design and construction services for the renovated MEDIC 15 Emergency and Medic Dispatch Building in Ladson, South Carolina. The facility incorporates Charleston County’s new PURVIS dispatch system, which streamlines operations by electronically sending automated voice alerts only to the stations required for response—allowing dispatchers to quickly move to the next call while the system evaluates resource needs.  As the first station in the county to implement PURVIS, the upgraded MEDIC 15 facility supports up to 12 personnel and features three apparatus bays accommodating up to six fire and EMS vehicles, enhancing overall response efficiency.
